A Parametric Approach for Solving Multi-Objective Linear Fractional Programming Phase

Authors

Abstract:

In this paper a multi - objective linear fractional programming problem with the fuzzy variables and vector of fuzzy resources is studied and an algorithm based on a parametric approach is proposed. The proposed solving procedure is based on the parametric approach to find the solution, which provides the decision maker with more complete information in line with reality. The simplicity of the proposed method is one of the advantages of the presented algorithm, which allows the decision maker to better understand the solving procedure. Moreover, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the proposed method.

Providing a Method for Solving Interval Linear Multi-Objective Problems Based on the Goal Programming Approach

Most research has focused on multi-objective issues in its definitive form, with decision-making coefficients and variables assumed to be objective and constraint functions. In fact, due to inaccurate and ambiguous information, it is difficult to accurately identify the values of the coefficients and variables. Interval arithmetic is appropriate for describing and solving uncertainty and inaccu...

Modified FGP approach and MATLAB program for solving multi-level linear fractional programming problems

In this paper, we present modified fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach and generalized MATLAB program for solving multi-level linear fractional programming problems (ML-LFPPs) based on with some major modifications in earlier FGP algorithms. In proposed modified FGP approach, solution preferences by the decision makers at each level are not considered and fuzzy goal for the decision vectors i...

A New Method For Solving Linear Bilevel Multi-Objective Multi-Follower Programming Problem

Linear bilevel programming is a decision making problem with a two-level decentralized organization. The leader is in the upper level and the follower, in the lower level. This study addresses linear bilevel multi-objective multi-follower programming (LB-MOMFP) problem, a special case of linear bilevel programming problems with one leader and multiple followers where each decision maker has sev...

A TAYLOR SERIES APPROACH FOR SOLVING LINEAR FRACTIONAL DECENTRALIZED BI-LEVEL MULTI-OBJECTIVE DECISION-MAKING UNDER FUZZINESS

This paper presents a Taylor series approach for solving linear fractional de-centralized bi-level multi-objective decision-making (LFDBL-MODM) problems with asingle decision maker at the upper level and multiple decision makers at the lower level. In the proposed approach, the membership functions associated with each objective(s) ofthe level(s) of LFDBL-MODM are transformed by using a Taylor s...

A new method for solving fuzzy multi-objective linear programming problems

The purpose of this paper is to develop a new two-stage method for fuzzy multi-objective linear program and apply to engineering project portfolio selection. In the fuzzy multi-objective linear program, all the objective coefficients, technological coefficients and resources are trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (TrFNs). An order relationship for TrFNs is introduced by using the interval expectation of...
